Kalane - (Taluka Dodamarg- Maharashtra)

Village Kalane is one of the beautiful village in Dodamarg Taluka of Sindhudurg district. The river flows between the village throughout the year and meets Sindhu Sagar i.e. An Arabian Sea at Shapora village in Goa. The village has six wards namely Deulwadi,Bhatwadi,Aawlewadi,Dabiwadi,and Karmaliwadi and Dhavadkiwadi.The main occupation of villagers is farming. people mostly grows crops like rice, Nachani, coconut and cashew.There are four govt. primary schools and one high school in village. You can explore historical places like Vaghbil (Tiger cave) on Sada and Ukale i.e. rock carving .
